Learning Objectives

This course is focused on one of the most fundamental aspects of entrepreneurship: failure. Failure is a constant element in entrepreneurs’ careers, especially if they come from underrepresented communities. Dealing with failure, then, becomes part of the everyday life of the entrepreneur.

This course attempts to provide insights and knowledge on this issue. Through it, you will be able to acknowledge the meaning of failure in entrepreneurship and why is it important.

Moreover, this module will also address the relationship between failure and success, and how these two elements are interconnected.

On a more practical side, the course will provide you with strategies, tools, exercises, tips, real-life cases, and examples on how to deal with failure in entrepreneurship, and how to affront failure so as to turn it into success. You will learn how to nurture a success mindset and implement it in your professional life.

The first module addresses the definition of failure and offers useful insights on how to extract positive outcomes from it. You will learn in what way failure could be something positive

The second module explores the important question of how to turn failure into success and how these two concepts are interrelated. Moreover, it will provide you with real-life examples of entrepreneurs who turned failure into success.

The last module will then delve into the process of building trust relations and partnerships in entrepreneurship, addressing the importance of creating networks and a web of interconnected relations.
