Learning Objectives:

Module 1 is dedicated to the concept of entrepreneurship and its key components. On completion of the Module, learners will be able to:

• Define entrepreneurship and give relevant examples
• Summarise the main components of entrepreneurship and of being a successful entrepreneur
• Identify forms of innovative entrepreneurship
• Understand the main strategies of innovative planning in entrepreneurship
• Be inspired by entrepreneurs who overcame challenges, such as the pandemic, and thrived
• Get familiar with the Business Model Canvas and its objectives
• Experiment with the Business Model Canvas and learn from examples of entrepreneurs who have applied it successfully
